Mr. Saptarshi Basu  MD & CEO

In his last postion, Saptarshi  has single handledly setup a complete BI & Analytics practice from scratch as the Global Business Head. Having studied at IIEST ( BE College, Shibpur) & Gold Medallist in Mechanical Engineering, Saptarshi has a decade of experience in the DWBI space. He has worked with the entire top IT MNCs like Infosys, TCS, Wipro and Cognizant before founding ATS. He had extensively worked with multinational clients across different verticals like BFS, Insurance, Retails and others. Having spent many years at abroad client locations in US, UK, Canada and Middle East, he has implemented DWBI solutions at many fortune 500 companies like Shell, Wells Fargo, J&J, Met life, Al Tayer LLC and others.

Sujit holds a degree in Computers from Bangalore University and has done executive management from Indian Institute of Management (IIM B), Bangalore. He has held several senior positions in many of the MNC’s. The most significant position he held prior to starting up his own venture was VP & Head-Global Information Security for Mphasis an HP company and VP ITO services at Acropetal technologies consecutively.

Job title: Big Data Architect - Hadoop

This position is for a Big Data Architect who will be involved in hard core hands on Product development in our indigenous cloud Analytics product for Big Data platform.




Minimum Requirements:

4+years total Software Development experience with strong technical background and 4 years in Big data (Preferable from Product Based Companies) & advance Java

* Should Have experience in Web & Cloud (Amazon S3, EC2, Redshift, Rackspace, OpenShift  ) –This will be a big plus/advantage

* 4+ years of experience in Design, development, testing, and deployment on full lifecycle of Hadoop stack (e.g. MapReduce, Sqoop, Pig, Hive, Hbase, Flume) 

* 4+ years of experience on "productionizing" Hadoop applications (e.g. administration, configuration management, monitoring, debugging, and performance tuning) 

* 4+ years of experience on NoSQL platforms (e.g. key-value stores, graph databases, RDF triple stores) and MPP Databases (Teradata, Netezza, Greenplum, Aster Data, Vertica) 

* Proven experience in Data modeling & architecting Big data-based Platforms for large customers. 

* Should have in depth knowledge on Big data distributions such as Cloudera, Hortonworks & Greenplum Pivotal, and MapR.

* Design and build large-scale, distributed systems, scalable infrastructure and platform to collect and process very large amounts of data (structured and unstructured), including streaming real-time data. 

* Experience with migrating legacy systems to Big data environments using Big Data ETL tools (Talend, Pentaho.etc).

* Strong understanding of Analytical tools, languages, or libraries (R) and how they can be adapted for Big data.

* Hands-on experience with related/complementary open source software platforms and languages (e.g. Java)
